JVC’c GS-TD1 3d HD Camcorder Makes 3D Home Videos a reality (For a Price)

If you’ve been waiting to make your home movies look like Avatar, now’s your chance. The new JVC GS-TD1 camcorder can bring all of your 3 dimensional dreams to life (for $1,700). The camcorder offers a pair of 3.32 megapixel sensors which can shoot up to 1080i in 3D.
In addition, you get a 5X optical zoom and 64GB of built-in storage. If you need more than that (and who wouldn’t?) there’s also a SDXC card slot for expansion. The 3.5 inch LCD monitor shows you what you shot in 3D without the need for glasses so you can be sure that your framing is perfect before you yell “cut!”

The proprietary JVC biphonic audio recording allows you to capture 3D sound as well.
